Shirley

Assistant Resident Manager

Shirley has 42 years’ experience in ministering to hurting women who have been the victims of physical, emotional and sexual abuse.

Shirley attended Dallas Baptist University, Chaplaincy training, and Prison Fellowship training where she became a certified chaplain.  Her chaplaincy and training allowed her to minister to women in Texas jails and prisons. After 13 years of working for the Baptist General Convention, she moved to Fort Worth, Texas where she was the director of a home for the families of prisoners in the federal prisons.

In 2003 Shirley left that position to become the director of Blessed Hope House, a home for women in crisis.
