Founder, Director of Ministry
Pastor Sherry is Co-Founder and pastor of Restored Hope Ministries, along with her husband, Sam. Sherry and Sam have been married 27 years. They have three grown children and 6 grandchildren. Pastor Sherry and her husband were pastors of Project Life ministries at Covenant Church in Carrollton. As pastors of Project Life Ministries, they started and led a successful Celebrate Recovery program, Grief Share, Divorce Care, Abortion Ministry, and TNT for seniors. As they ministered to women in these programs they begin to see the great need for a ministry that helped women and their children who were victims of sexual exploitation and domestic violence.
As God began to plant this vision in their hearts, they answered the call and Restored Hope Ministries was born. In 1990 Sherry was diagnosed with Nodular Lymphoma and given two years to live. In 2001, after 12 years of fighting cancer, God healed her, and she has been cancer free for 17 years. Pastor Sherry stands firm on the Word of God. She uses her own experiences with cancer to share the love and faithfulness of God as she ministers to the women of RHM.
